At Ummah Balance, voluntary giving and supporting beneficial work are values we seek to uphold as Muslims. We believe business should be conducted with honesty, transparency, and concern for benefit beyond ourselves.
For this reason, we intend to set aside 10% of our annual net profits to support Muslim Neighbours, a UK registered charity focused on sharing the message of Islam with local communities through friendship and wisdom.
This commitment is sadaqah (voluntary charity). It is separate from zakat and does not replace any zakat obligation that may otherwise be due.
Who we support
Muslim Neighbours is a UK dawah charity working to share Islam with local communities. Its work includes distributing free translated copies of the Qur’an and Islamic materials, supporting street dawah, organising community activities, and helping to remove misconceptions about Islam through respectful engagement.

What the giving supports
The giving from Ummah Balance is intended to support dawah work, including Qur’an copies, Islamic materials, dawah equipment, community activities, website costs, and other work connected to sharing Islam with clarity, kindness, and wisdom.
Muslim Neighbours states that donations raised specifically for dawah are used for the cause of dawah. Its work is supported by volunteers.
How much we give
Ummah Balance intends to set aside 10% of its annual net profits for Muslim Neighbours.
This amount is calculated from profit, not total sales. Net profit is what remains after legitimate business costs such as production, fulfilment, delivery, platform fees, payment processing fees, refunds, packaging, applicable taxes, and other operating expenses.
When we give
The amount will usually be calculated and given annually. This allows us to review the business accounts properly and make the contribution in a clear and organised way.
Where appropriate, we may also give earlier or make additional voluntary contributions.
Transparency
Ummah Balance’s founder is also a co-founder and volunteer with Muslim Neighbours. This relationship is disclosed openly for transparency.
Ummah Balance is not a charity. Purchases made through Ummah Balance are purchases of products and are not direct charitable donations.
Purchases help make this commitment possible, but the charitable amount is calculated from Ummah Balance’s annual net profit rather than from an individual order.

We ask Allah to purify our intentions, place barakah in this work, accept what is given, and make it a means of benefit.
Our aim is to build Ummah Balance with sincerity, responsibility, and transparency while supporting efforts that share the message of Islam with clarity, wisdom, and good character.
