We have chosen not to build Ummah Balance around an active or constant presence on mainstream social media platforms. While these platforms can be used for beneficial purposes, they can also expose people to distraction, heedlessness, unsuitable content, comparison, argument, and continuous scrolling.
As a brand that encourages greater awareness, discipline, and focus, we believe it is more consistent to communicate primarily through spaces that can be used with greater intention.
Where we do use social media, our aim is to use it selectively as a means of sharing beneficial content, helping people discover Ummah Balance, and directing them towards our website and other more intentional channels — rather than making continuous social-media engagement central to the brand.
This is a decision made for Ummah Balance and is not presented as a judgement on every individual, organisation, or beneficial use of social media.
